Sol, Terra is set in the basic D&D realms, with a twist: besides the normal world, on the surface of the planet, there are continents that float miles off of the ground. These continents are very similar to the ones on the surface, with one difference: they do not revolve with the rest of the planet. The continents are not a free-floating mass; they are all interconnected. However, for some reason, the floating continents move in relation to the sun (one area is always in sunlight, and the other side is always in shadow).
